In the advanced baseline correction mode, the integrator tries to optimize the start and end locations of the peaks, re-establishes the baseline for a cluster of peaks, and removes baseline penetrations (see Baseline correction mode: no penetration). In many cases, advanced baseline correction gives a more stable baseline, which is less dependent on slope sensitivity.
