Use different compound amounts per injection
Compound amounts are required to calculate a calibration curve. By default, Data Analysis uses the values that are defined for each calibration level in the processing method. However, different amount values may have been set in Acquisition if slightly deviating amounts have been weighed in for the calibration standards. The values used for calibration are visible in the Injection List. You can also edit the values in Data Analysis.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Data > Edit sample information. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
In the Injection List window, select a calibration standard (Sample type=Cal.Std.).
Click the Compound amounts column.
In the Amount in sample column, enter the values that you want to use instead.
Reprocess the data.
The right part of the window shows all compounds amounts for the calibration level of the selected injection. Amounts that are set in the method are read-only.
Only those compounds are shown where the amount is used to calculate the calibration curve (that is, for example, no internal standards or compounds that use a fixed response factor).
The calibration curve is now calculated with the modified amounts.
