An ion that has been considered a qualifier by the application may actually be a compound itself. Proceed as follows to make a new compound from the qualifier.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Processing Method > Edit identification parameters. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.
In the processing method, select the Compounds > Identification node (Compound Table tab).
Select the compound to which the qualifier is currently assigend.the qualifiers.
In the Qualifier group details window to the right of the compound table: Right-click the qualifier from which you want to create a new compound, then select Make new compound from qualifier.
The qualifier is removed from the qualifier group. A new compound with the corresponding EIC or SIM signal and expected retention time is added to the compound table.
Reprocess the results.
