Standard Wash (Hybrid
Multisampler Injection Path Cleaning)
Specify the
parameters for a standard needle wash in this
section:
Mode |
Select the wash location by clicking the down arrow and selecting the
needle wash mode from the list. You can select from
Flush Port (default
location) or Wash
Vial. |
Time |
The Time field is
enabled only if you have selected Flush Port. It enables you to specify a flush time
in seconds between 0 and 9999 seconds in steps of 1 second. The peristaltic
pump continues purging for 15 sec after needle is lifted to ensure that the
wash solvent is completely moved to
waste. |
Location |
The Location and
Repeat fields are enabled
only if you have selected Wash
Vial. The Location field allows you to specify a wash
location:
Specify vial locations in the format
Vial X, where X is the vial
number. -
Specify well locations in the format
D<Drawer
#><F (front) or B
(back)-<Row Character><Column
Number>, for example, D1F-A-1. The values of <Row
Character> and <Column Number> depend
on the wellplate type.

The sample location is specified
by: the number of the drawer in the sample
hotel The position of the sample container in
the drawer (front or back) The sample location

Plate numbering starts with the bottom
drawer front, then bottom drawer back, and continues

The Repeat field is available only if you have selected
Wash
Vial. |
The Standard Wash parameters are
enabled only when Standard Wash is
selected in the Needle Wash
section of the Method.
