Track Solvent Usage

You can track and predict the solvent usage. This feature allows you to estimate whether the current run or sequence will complete as-is, using current provided amounts for the solvents, or if these resources will need replenishment.

Preparations

• LC instrument modules: See Agilent InfinityLab LC Series InfinityLab Level Sensing User Manual (G7175-Level-Sensing-UseMa-en-D0116901.pdf, D0116901).

• LC and CE instrument drivers: Revision 3.9 or higher

1. Configure the instrument to track the solvent. If already configured, update with the current solvent levels.

   Set warning limits to notify you before a resource becomes expended.

2. Open the Solvent Monitor window from the ribbon.

3. If running a sequence, click Validate to check if enough solvent is available to complete all existing items in the Run Queue and the current sequence.

4. Review the information presented.

5. After starting the run or sequence, the Run Queue will provide notification if the solvent amount is not sufficient to complete a scheduled item. For status details, check the Solvent Monitor window.
