Close connection

Use Close Connection to sever the connection between the instrument and the configured Instrument Controller (AIC or Workstation).

Each instrument can only be controlled by one Instrument Controller at a time. To change the AIC or Workstation that controls an instrument, you must first close the connection from the current AIC or Workstation before connecting a different Instrument Controller.

1. Click Instruments.

2. Select the instrument to close.

3. Click Close Connection.

   

4. Click OK.
