Disable an account to prevent the user from logging on the Control Panel. When an account is disabled, the user is not active in the system but his or her information is stored in the Control Panel.
Before a user account is disabled, all applications started by the user should be closed, and there should not be any pending runs or result sets waiting in the Data Acquisition Run Queue.
Click Administration > Users.
Select the account to disable and click Edit User.
On the General tab, select Account is disabled.
Click OK.
