Resubmit an Upload Request
You can modify upload settings and resubmit an upload request to fix
an upload that was blocked for the following reasons:
- The upload user has become invalid and cannot be made valid again
(for example, the user has left the company and the account has been
permanently disabled or deleted). If the user has a project permissions
problem or is temporarily disabled, correct the permissions or enable
the account again.
- The destination server or upload folder is invalid because the
server has crashed and needs to be restored to a new system as part
of a disaster recovery. If part of the fileset was uploaded to one
location and you redirect the remainder to a new location, the fileset
will be invalid, and the calling application may not be able to open
the files.
To resubmit an upload request,
- Select one or more files to resubmit.
- Click Resubmit.
- Enter your local Windows administrator
credentials.
- Enter the OpenLab credentials
for the user who will resubmit the upload.
- To
change only the upload user, enter the new user credentials and
keep the default server.
- To
change the server, you must both enter new user credentials and
provide the new server.
- Specify the reason for resubmitting the upload request, and verify
the destination folder. If you are resubmitting to a different folder,
ensure the folder already exists and the planner user has write access
to it. The reason entered for the resubmission will be added to the
activity log.
- Click OK to
resubmit all selected files with the modified settings.
