Example 1: Compute the Area in seconds

1. Question: Is it computed by the software? How can I compute it from the Software?

   Answer: No, it is not. Data Analysis computes the area in minutes. You convert an area from minutes to seconds with the following formula: area*60

2. Question: Which field is available for the area in Custom Calculation Formulas?

   Answer: In the fields, you find Peak_Area and Compound_Area.

   If you need the area of peaks (identified or not identified), choose Peak_Area. If you need it for groups, choose Compound_Area.

3. Question: What is the scope?

   Answer: To get this area computed for each peak or group, select the Peak or Group scope.

4. Question: What is the type?

   Answer: It is a Double.
