Calculation of exponential curve for skims

The following equation is used to calculate an exponential, new exponential, or gaussian skim:

Hb(tR) = H₀ * exp (- B * (tR - t₀)) + A * tR + C

Height of the exponential skim at time tR

Height (above baseline) of the start of the skim (different estimates for exponential and gaussian skim)

B

Decay factor (different estimates for exponential and gaussian skim)

Time corresponding to the start of the skim (different estimates for exponential and gaussian skim)

Retention time

Slope of the baseline of the parent peak

Offset of the baseline of the parent peak (different estimates for exponential and gaussian skim)
