Use the customization tool

This procedure describes how to use the customization tool. All the examples are based on the example files as described in Example Material.

1. Copy the file Setup\Tools\Support\UCL\Customization\CustomToolsConfiguration.xml from the installation medium to C:\ProgramData\Agilent Technologies\OpenLAB Data Analysis on the computer running OpenLAB CDS.

   The ProgramData folder is hidden by default.

2. To use the example CustomToolsConfiguration.xml, copy the complete Setup\Tools\Support\UCL\Customization\CustomTools\ folder from the installation medium to the folder C:\temp.

3. Start OpenLab Data Analysis.
