Data Analysis allows you to open processing methods from other projects you are involved in. However, the loaded method of another project is read-only and not editable. To use the method, you must first link it to injections of a result set and create a result set method.
Prerequisites
You have read access to projects in general and to the single projects that you are involved in (privilege Project Management > View project or project group on the Projects root node and also on each single project). Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
Click Open Method
in the ribbon.
From the drop-down list Project, select the project different from the Home project.
The Open File dialog shows you that the selected project is read-only.
Navigate to the location where the required method is stored. You can choose any location within the project path defined in the Control Panel.
Select the required method.
Click Open.
The processing method opens. It will not be editable as it is read-only.
If you are working with a result set (that is, not with single samples):
Use this method and link it to injections of a result set to create a result set method. Linking will result in entries of both the method audit trail and injection audit trail, indicating that the copied result set method is from another project.
Use the result set method to update a master method in the current project.
If the loaded processing method is part of EZChrom data that has been acquired in File Mode, you must first import the method. Linking does not work if such an EZChrom method has simply been copied to the OpenLab results folder. |
