Display compounds or timed groups in a chromatogram

1. Click in the Chromatograms toolbar.

2. Select the Expected compounds page.

3. To display compounds: Select the Show expected compounds check box. To display timed groups: Select the Show timed groups check box.

4. Select other display options as required.

5. Click OK.

For compounds, the start and end times of the expected time range are shown with blue dashed lines. The name is also shown in blue.

For timed groups, the range is shown with green dashed lines. The name is also shown in green.

Selected compounds or timed groups are highlighted by a blue or green background of the name and of the baseline range.

The expected time ranges are always shown as defined in the processing method. Therefore, the same expected time range is shown for any selected injection. If you use the RT update function, these time ranges are updated after each injection. To see the ranges that were actually used in each individual injection to identify a compound, select the Show compound identification windows check box on the Compound Windows page.
