Selectivity calculates the alpha value for all signal peaks except the first one. For every pair of adjacent peaks (peaks 1 and 2, tR of peak 1 < tR of peak 2), the selectivity is calculated as follows:

RRT (EP) can be calculated only if an RRT reference peak has been defined and identified. Alpha values are < 1 if the peak is to the left of the RRT reference, and > 1 if the peak is to the right of the RRT reference.
