Data from OpenLab CDS ChemStation Edition rev. C.01.01 or later already used the ACAML data format. It can be loaded directly in OpenLab CDS. You only need to transfer the result set to the Results folder of your OpenLab CDS project. See Load or add data for more information on the Load data function.
ChemStation stores results in a zipped format when connected to a content management system. You can simply load the existing SSZZip archives from their current location. After modifying and saving the zipped data, a new version will be created automatically. The original data is preserved in the original version of the zipped results.
If you use ECM 3.x, see Special aspects of working with OpenLab ECM 3.x.
If you use the Content Management component of a Workstation Plus or a Client/Server system, unzipped ChemStation results may be available after a migration or manual upload. If you load unzipped results from Content Management, OpenLab CDS allows you to create a specific result set version that preserves the original data and results. The version label for that version is then CS-xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx.
The results in the ChemStation data may have been calculated based on manual integration corrections. However, the manual integration corrections themselves will not be imported. See Imported values.
The method status of ChemStation methods is Generic by default. See Method approval.
When loading the data, OpenLab CDS looks for existing data analysis methods associated with the injections. If there are any, the application offers you to auto-import them.
Your data may contain multiple methods linked to different injections. The system imports up to ten methods and links them to the injections as defined in the original data system. If there are more than ten methods, a dialog opens. It allows you to either cancel the action, or to import only the method from the first injection and link it to all injections. |
