Create a new processing method

Prerequisites

To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the following privileges:

  • Project Management > Edit content of project

  • Processing Method > Create processing method

  • Processing Method > Save master method

Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

  1. In the ribbon, select the Processing tab.

  2. Click New Method .

  3. In the Create new method dialog, select the required method configuration, then click Create method.

    4. The application switches to the Method layout. The new method contains only the method sections that are relevant for the selected configuration.

    The new method is automatically added to the Method Selector in the navigation tree.

  4. Adjust the method properties as required. For example:

    • Under General > Properties, enter a description for the new method.

    • Adjust the properties under the Integration Events node. See Integration events for more details on the single parameters.

    • Adjust the properties under the Compounds node. See Compound identification parameters for more details on the single parameters.

  5. In the ribbon, click Save Method. See Save a processing method.
