This task describes how you can interactively change the integration of your chromatogram using manual integration.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privileges Data Processing > Do manual integration and Processing Method > Edit integration parameters. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.
Make sure there is a method linked to your data. See Link injections to a processing method.
Display the chromatogram, and zoom into the area of interest.
Click the Manual Integration icon
in the Chromatograms toolbar.
Optional: Adjust the settings for manual integration. See Adjust the settings for manual integration.
Move the mouse cursor over the signal or the area of the baseline where you want to change the integration.
Depending on the position of the mouse cursor, the system will offer the relevant manual integration tool.
When the required manual integration tool is active, drag the mouse to the new position, or click at the desired position.
The injection is automatically reprocessed. An asterisk (*) is appended to the filename in the injection tree to indicate the manual integration.
As the changed integration will change the results, any existing signatures will not be carried forward. A dialog will ask for confirmation.
To
undo or redo a manual integration correction, click the Undo
or Redo
icon in the
Chromatograms toolbar.
To build a calibration curve with the adjusted integration values, reprocess the entire sequence. Click Reprocess All to reprocess the entire sequence.
To
save manual integration corrections in the processing method, click
in the Chromatograms
toolbar. For details, see Apply manual integration corrections to other injections.
