Troubleshooting Print Folders

The Agilent OpenLab CopyTo Client or Agilent OpenLab CopyTo Server service has crashed

The service should automatically restart.

Network issue between client/AIC and server

Centralized printing requests will be buffered on the client and will be automatically re-transmitted to the server as soon as the network is back.

Network issue between server and print folder

Centralized printing requests will be buffered on the server. The files will be automatically copied to the print folder as soon as the network is back.

Network issue between workstation and print folder

Centralized printing requests will be buffered on the workstation. The files will be automatically copied to the print folder as soon as the network is back.

Server is down

Centralized printing requests will be buffered on the client and will automatically be re-transmitted to the server as soon as the network is back.

Print folder cache full

Check print folder access. Consider increasing the cache size (see Prepare Centralized Printing in the installation guide).

Print folders are not accessible due to insufficient permissions

Check that the domain user logged into the Agilent OpenLab CopyTo Server service is a local administrator and has permissions to write into the print folders.

Reports are stuck in print folders

Check that the third party software being used to access print folders for printing is functioning correctly. Check that there are no printer errors.
