OpenLab CDS supports the import of data in the netCDF format (*.CDF files) according to the AIA Chromatography Data Standard Specification. This is a standard format used for exchanging data between chromatography data systems.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privileges Project Management > Edit content of project and Data > Import raw data. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
In the Data
Selection view: On the Import/Export ribbon tab, click
Import Raw Data
.
A dialog opens in the local file system of your PC. Browse to the cdf data, and select the .CDF files that you want to import. Hold the [Ctrl] or [Shift] key to select multiple items.
In the Create New Result Set dialog, adjust the order of injections, or remove individual injections.
Optionally, provide a processing method for the new result set. Check the name and location for the new result set.
If you did not choose an existing processing method, the Create New Processing Method dialog opens. It allows you to create a new method. You can link the method to you data but do not process yet (Link only), link and process your data with the new method (Link and process), or create the new method without linking it to your data (No method).
An initial version labeled AIA-<timestamp> of the result set is created. It stores the information and results as they were imported.
Name of the parameter in the .CDF file | Name of the parameter in Data Analysis |
Comment |
---|---|---|
sample_injection_volume | Injection volume | |
detection_method_name | Acq. method | |
sample_amount | Sample amount | |
peak_processing_method_name |
Proc. method | |
autosampler_position |
Vial | If autosampler_position is missing in the .CDF file, Vial is set to Vial 1 |
injection_date_time_stamp |
Injection time |
No data is imported if the raw data or the retention_unit parameter is missing in the .CDF file. |
