Attended automatic deconvolution

Spectral Deconvolution results are automatically generated when you reprocesses injections in a result set in Data Analysis.

Prerequisites

  • To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the following privileges. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

    • Project Management > Edit content of project

    • Processing Method > Edit MS Spectral Deconvolution parameters

    • Data Processing > Reprocess data

    • Data Processing > Do manual MS Spectral Deconvolution

  • You use SCAN data that was acquired in profile mode.

  • A Spectral Deconvolution Analysis license must be available in your OpenLab system.

  1. Prepare an LC/MS Spectral Deconvolution processing method.

  2. In the processing method under Spectral Analysis > MS Spectral Deconvolution, select the Run automatic deconvolution check box. Prepare the other deconvolution parameters as required.

  3. Link the processing method to your injections. On reprocessing, spectral deconvolution results are automatically generated.

  4. A Spectral Deconvolution Analysis license is consumed when you generate spectral deconvolution results the first time. This license is then retained for your Data Analysis session. It will be returned when you close Data Analysis, and can then be used by another user or session.

  5. To re-generate spectral deconvolution results on all injection in a result set, click Reprocess All in the ribbon.

  6. To re-generate spectral deconvolution results on an individual injection, click Reprocess Selected in the Processing ribbon tab
