Evaluate results in ASR

After importing an ASR file, you can find the following parameters under the given location of the ASR viewer:

Parameters

ASR Viewer

Sample name

Displayed in the Vials list.

Number of samples

Displayed in the Vials list.

Vial number

Displayed in the Location column of the Vials list.

Peak purity

Displayed in the Asr Summary/Peak Results table:

  • A peak with one component is shown with a green purity icon.

  • A peak with two component is shown with a blue and green purity icon.

  • A peak with three or more components is shown with a red icon (impure).

Sample purity

Prerequisite: Injections are linked to an LC/MS Sample Purity method, the setting Calculate Sample Purity is enabled, and the Base Signal is set to MS.

Purity values are displayed in the Purity column of the Purity tab and in the Quality column of the Vial list.

For injections with more than one target mass: A target tab (for example, Target 1, Target 2) is displayed for each target mass and displays the sample purity value in the Purity column.

Other sample parameters are displayed in the Sample tab of the ASR viewer.

In the Plates/Vials pane, the following color codes are used:

Details for OpenLab CDS results

One or more targets found

At least one target ion from a target mass was found, and for at least one target mass the calculated sample purity meets or exceeds the minimum purity limit set in the processing method (MS Sample Purity > Properties > General tab) in OpenLab CDS.

One or more targets found, but with low relative intensity

At least one target ion from a target mass was found, but none exceed the minimum purity limit set in the processing method (MS Sample Purity > Properties > General tab) in OpenLab CDS.

No targets found

No target ions from a target mass were found.

No targets specified or no peaks found

No target mass was specified in OpenLab CDS, or no peaks were found.
