Hints for choosing the smallest peak range

Use one of the following approaches to define the smallest peak range:

  • Move the mouse over the green Smallest Peak Range box and drag the entire selector.

  • Move the mouse over the individual green lines to adjust the smallest peak range start and end time.

  • Enter the start and end time manually into the corresponding input fields.

  • Right-click the peak that you want to use as smallest peak, and select Move smallest peak range here.

When choosing the smallest peak range, please note the following:

  • Select the smallest peak with the smallest width. Do not have multiple separated peaks in the range.

  • Choose the start and end time close to the steep slope of the peak. Do not include baseline drift or pseudo peaks.

  • Select a single peak with the smallest width in a cluster. Do not select peak clusters.
