Total Ion Chromatogram (TIC SCAN or TIC SIM)

Total Ion Chromatograms (TIC SCAN or TIC SIM) are summarized MS intensity signals that are stored in the data file. The scan mass range or selected ion(s) are set during data acquisition, as part of the acquisition method. For example, a TIC SCAN signal with the mass range m/z =[150;1000] would include signals from m/z 150 to 1000.

To view a TIC SCAN or TIC SIM signal in the Chromatograms window, simply select the corresponding signal.

The signals for extracted ions (EIC or SIM) are available under Extracted Chromatograms for each injection.
