With the settings on this page, you control which additional information a chromatogram will show for compounds that are expected according to the settings in the individual injections.
The application allows you to update the expected retention after processing an injection. If you use this option, the retention time windows in the single injections may differ from the one defined in the processing method. The settings under Compound windows are related to the values in each single injection.
This additional information can be useful during method development.
Show compound identification windows | Additional bars are shown in the chromatogram. They indicate the actual retention time window that was used in the individual injection to find a peak, and thus to identify a compound. If no peak was found in the expected time range, the bar is shown in red (see below at 10 min). If you also show the expected retention time as defined in the method, you can identify shifted values in the single injection. If you use time reference compounds, the bar indicates the corrected retention time window. For peaks that are not found in the corrected retention time window, the bar is shown in red, with a connection line to the uncorrected retention time. |
Restrict to focused injection | The additional bars are only shown for the focused injection. |
Restrict to focused compound | The additional bar is only shown for the focused compound. |
