Right Click on the 850-DS panel within Instrument Status will allow for the following options for Manual Control:
Pump Cycle: Enter a value in the field and click on a direction to cycle media of the desired volume in the desired direction.
Syringe Valves: Open or Close the Syringe Valves
Fill/Dispense Syringe: Clicking Fill or Dispense will either fill or dispense the percentage volume of the syringe, defined in the field.
Needles & Valves: Allows for the needles to be raised or lowered, and the Needle Valves to be opened or closed.
NOTE: Ensure Needles are raised before continuing with further Manual Control of the 850-DS Autosampler.
Rinse Pump: Allows for Directional control of the Rinse Pump.
Media Replacement Pump: Allows for Directional Control of the Media Replacement Pump
Waste Pump: Allows for control of the Waste Pump.
Move Tray: Clicking on a row, will
move the sample tray to the desired position, clicking on the
will engage
the home sequence.
Filter Changer Only Options
If the G7931A Filter Changer option is installed and configured, the following options will be available:
Change Filter: Cycle the change filter sequence the number of times defined in the field.
Filter Clamps: Allows for manual open and close of the Filter Clamps.
SP/FC: This will return the Syringe Pump and Filter Changer to the home positions.
Reset Instrument
Clicking on this function from the Instrument Status Panel dropdown menu, will reset the connection between the 850-DS Autosampler and the Instrument Controller.
Cleaning Cycle Control
Selecting the cleaning cycle from the right click options of the 850-DS Autosampler allows the user to perform cleaning cycles on the system outside of those defined in a method (link to 850-DS Method Parameters). The options are as follows:
Cleaning Cycle
Volume: Define the volume of media to by used in a cleaning cycle.
#Cycles to run: Define the number of cleaning cycles to be run.
Source
Select either the Rinse port or the Sample cannula to be the source of the cleaning media used in the cleaning cycle(s).
Clicking Start will start the cleaning cycles as defined, these can be stopped at any time by clicking Stop.
