Power on Temperatures

This function is used by service technicians.

After a power cycle, the MSD returns to the temperature setting shown in the Power On Temperatures screen.  The default is 100 degrees C.

To have the MSD return to a different temperature after a power cycle:

  1. Launch your instrument from the Control Panel or Desktop Icon.

  2. Click Method to access the method parameters. The components configured with this instrument are listed in the navigation pane under Instrument Setup.

  3. Select MSD > Maintenance > Service > Power On Temperatures.

  4. Enter the New temperatures you would like for the Source, and Quad, and click Apply. The MSD will return to the temperatures specified here, following the next power cycle.
