The Injection Path Volume is the dead volume between the needle seat and the chip. It depends on the ID of the seat capillary and the presence of an inline filter. For example, the Injection Path Volume for a 75 µm seat capillary with a micro inline filter is 1.6 µl. Enter the Injection Path Volume in the field.
This check box is marked to indicate that a BCD/external contacts board has been detected during autoconfiguration. For manual configuration, mark the External contacts board installed check box to indicate that a BCD/external contacts board is installed. Specify the use of external contacts in the External Contacts.
When the External contacts board installed check box is cleared, the External Contacts section of the method setup is not present. |
