The Carryover Reduction function flushed the loading flow path of the Chip Cube at the highest possible flow rate with two different solvents containing, for example, a high organic content and a low organic content. The high-organic solvent is specified in the carryover reduction parameters. The flush cycle starts as soon as the Chip Cube valve switches from Enrichment to Analysis, and the trapping column is no longer in the loading flow path.
Mark the Enable Carryover Reduction check box to activate the carryover reduction parameters.
Specify the number of Wash Cycles (1 to 10). Each wash cycle comprises a high-organic flush followed by a low-organic flush.
Select the channels to use for Solvent A and Solvent B to provide the high-organic flush. Specify the percentage of solvent B in the field; solvent A is then (100-%B).
