Column Configuration

The Column Configuration section shows the column configuration in tabular form. The table has five columns:

Valve Pos.

Specifies the connection (Column, Bypass or Waste) at each valve position. You cannot edit this column.

Color Code

Specifies the color-coding of the capillary set connected at this valve position. You can select from eight predefined colors (but each color can be used once only).

Usage

Specifies how this valve position is used. You can specify the following:

  • Column

    A column is connected. The TCC # and Location identify where the connected column is located. You can specify up to eight columns.

  • Bypass

    A bypass position. You can use this selection once only.

  • Waste

    The waste position. You can use this selection once only.

TCC #

Specifies the column thermostat module that contains the column. Refers to the cluster image in the Column Thermostat Cluster section.

Location

Specifies where the column is installed in the column thermostat module. You can specify a location only once in each column thermostat module.

Be sure to configure tagged columns in the correct position, otherwise the column information will not correspond to the information stored in the column tag.
