---|---|---|---|---|---|
Topology 1: VC |
Use this topology to equip your system with up to eight columns using one column selection valve. For a Thermostatted Column Compartment (TCC) or Multicolumn Thermostat (MCT), you may use the normal instrument driver instead, but you require this topology for example, to combine an external valve and an Integrated Column Compartment (ICC). | ||||
Topology 2: V(VC)2 |
Use this topology to equip your system with up to 16 columns using two column selection valves combined with a two-way switching valve (any valve that allows switching between at least two flow paths, for example, a 2-pos/6-port valve, a 2-pos/10-port valve or any column selection valve). | ||||
Topology 3: V(VC)3 |
Use this topology to equip your system with up to 24 columns using three column selection valves and one distribution valve that allows switching between at least three flow paths (any column selection valve). | ||||
Topology 4: V(VC)4 |
Use this topology to equip your system with up to 32 columns using four column selection valves and one distribution valve that supports at least four flow paths (for example, a 4-column, 6-column or 8-column selection valve). | ||||
Topology 5: V-C-V |
Use this topology to equip your system with up to eight columns using two bracketing column selection valves (8-pos/9-port valves), which switch between these columns. | ||||
Topology 6: VC-VC |
Use this topology to equip your system with up to 15 columns using two column selection valves.
| ||||
Topology 7: V(VC-VC)2 |
Use this topology to equip your system with up to 30 columns using four column selector valves and one two-way valve (any valve that allows switching between at least two flow paths, for example, a 2-pos/6-port valve, a 2-pos/10-port valve or any column selection valve) as primary switch.
