UV Lamp Tag G1315C/D and G7115A

Use this setting to specify whether lamp tags are required or not.

Select the use lamp only if lamp tag is available option to specify that the lamp can be ignited only if the system has detected a lamp tag. In this mode, if no lamp tag is detected, an analysis cannot be started.

Select the always use lamp option to specify that the lamp can be ignited whether or not the system detects a lamp tag. In this mode, an analysis can always be started.

G1315A/B detectors do not support a UV Lamp Tag.

UV Lamp Tag G4212A/B and G7117A/B/C

Use this setting to specify whether lamp tags are required or not, or whether a compatible lamp is installed.

Select the Automatic (use lamp tag) option to specify that the lamp can be ignited only if the system has detected a lamp tag. In this mode, if no lamp tag is detected, an analysis cannot be started.

Select the 5190-0917 compatible (without continuous heating) option to operate a compatible non-Agilent lamp without continuous heating.

Select the 5190-0916 compatible (continuous heating) option to operate a compatible non-Agilent lamp with continuous heating.

If you select one of the non-automatic options, a warning is displayed that you may be operating the detector outside the guaranteed specification.
