Change Peak Detector Peakwidth (DAD Timetable)

This function enables you to change the peakwidth (response time) at the specified time. The peakwidth is defined as the width of a peak, in minutes, at half the peak height.

You can choose from

  • same as Peakwidth

  • 2-times Peakwidth (Peakwidth × 2)

  • 4-times Peakwidth (Peakwidth × 4)

  • 8-times Peakwidth (Peakwidth × 8)

When used in the timetable, this parameter changes the filters used for peak-controlled spectral acquisition, but not the data rate of a chromatographic signal.

This setting makes sense only with peak-controlled spectra; it allows you to change the peakwidth setting to account for broadening peaks at the end of the run.

  • This function is not available for the G7115A, G7117A/B/C or the HDR-DAD Cluster.

  • If the application supports full spectra only (for example, EZChrome) Change Peak Detector Peakwidth is not available.
