The Max. fill volume per location ensures that the location (well, vial or tube) cannot be overfilled during fraction collection.
You can select either as configured (the maximum volume specified in the Configuration is used) or you can restrict the maximum volume to a specific value.
If the maximum fill volume is reached, under normal circumstances, collection continues in the next available location. If no location is available, an error message is generated. In the case of pooling, the system also generates an error message.
| If you set the Max. fill volume per location to a lower value than the default, this is not applied to recovery locations. For safety reasons, it is not possible to switch off the overfill function. |
