Specify the conditions for purging the system in this section of the Control dialog box. Click the Purge Mode down arrow and select the mode from the list. The purge procedure causes each channel's purge valve to open according to the settings.

Off | The purge is off. |
Defined Duration |
The system is purged for a specified duration. Enter the duration of the purge (in minutes) in the Duration field and the purge flow rate (in mL/min) in the Flow field. |
Infinite Duration | The system is purged until the purge is switched off. Enter the purge flow rate (in mL/min) in the Flow field. |
Flow Comp.(%) |
Specify the solvent composition for the purge flow. Channel A always delivers the remaining volume: 100 - (%B + %C + %D). |
