You can set the percentage of solvent B to any value from 0 through 100 %. Solvent A always delivers the remaining volume: 100 - %B. The solvent B check box allows you to turn the solvent B channel on (marked) or off (cleared).
The text boxes allow you to type a brief description of the solvents.
If you turn a solvent channel off, it will not be used in the timetable. |
For each channel, you can select which of the two solvents to deliver. You can set the percentage of solvent B to any value from 0 through 100 %. Solvent A always delivers the remaining volume: 100 - %B. The solvent B check boxes allow you to turn the solvent B channels on (marked) or off (cleared).
When the Use solvent types check box in the Compressibility section is marked, you click the down arrow and select either a Generic solvent or a calibrated Solvent.
If you select the Generic option, you can select either Aqueous or Organic from the drop-down list.
If you select the Solvent option, you can select a calibrated solvent from the drop-down list. For solvent mixtures, specify the percentage of the additive in the field at the left.
A value of 100% specifies a pure solvent. |
You can enter additional information (for example, about buffers) in the adjacent field.
When the Use solvent types check box is cleared, the text boxes allow you to type a brief description of the solvents.
