The Primary Channel section specifies the first channel from which solvent is drawn on the intake stroke of the pump. You can set the primary channel to one of the active channels A, B, C, D or Automatic. We recommend that you set the primary channel to Automatic. In this case, the first channel is the channel with the highest solvent % value and composition errors are minimized.
This channel is kept during a gradient run.
