When Fast Reconditioning is switched On, the system is reconditioned prior to the postrun time, to return to the initial composition at the end of the analysis. The necessary parameters for reconditioning are configured using the Pump Configuration dialog box. Fast reconditioning is a two-step process:
The micro wellplate sampler needle is placed over the waste position of the flushport, and the pump delivers a high flow rate at the initial composition. This equilibrates the system up to the sampler needle outlet.
The micro wellplate sampler needle is returned to the needle seat, and the pump reconditions the column at the flow rate and initial composition.
Fast Reconditioning is supported only in conjunction with the micro wellplate sampler.
