Sets the maximum and minimum pressure limits for the pump.
Max is the maximum pressure limit at which the pump will switch itself off, protecting the analytical system against over-pressure.
Flow rate | Pressure Limit |
---|---|
0.000 - 5.000 mL/min | 1300 bar (18850 psi) |
Flow rate | Pressure Limit |
---|---|
0.000 - 5.000 mL/min | 800 bar (11600 psi) |
Flow Rate | Pressure Limit |

0.000 – 10.000 mL/min |
1200 bar (17400 psi) * * The pump automatically reduces the pressure if the flow exceeds 2 ml/min |
Flow Rate | Pressure Limit |
---|---|
flow rate ≤5 mL/min |
G1311A/C, G5611A, G7111A: 400 bar (5800 psi) G1311B, G5654A, G7111B: 600 bar (8700 psi) |
flow rate >5 mL/min | 200 bar (2900 psi) |
Min is the minimum limit at which the pump will switch itself off, for example, if any solvent reservoir is empty. This prevents system damage caused by pumping air.
Limits: You can set the minimum pressure limit to any value between 0 and the upper pressure limit setting.
The minimum pressure limit is activated only if the pressure starts above the specified value and falls below it. It is not activated if the pressure starts below the specified value. For the system to create an error the limits must be exceeded for a few seconds. |
