Stoptime (Modular LC Quaternary Pump)

The Stoptime sets a time limit for your analysis. After the Stoptime, all gradients are stopped and the pump parameters return to their initial values. The pump can be used as a Stoptime master for the complete analytical system. The pump also stops the detectors if they have a No Limit stoptime setting.

Limits: 0.01 to 99999 minutes or As Injector/No Limit (an infinite run time).

When a Stoptime is set for a module and that time is reached during the run, the module stops its run, that is, it stops data acquisition and starts counting the Posttime.

The Stoptime of the whole system is determined as follows:

  • If your system contains an Agilent pump, Agilent valve drive G1170A or Agilent sampler, the Stoptime of the system is determined by the shortest Stoptime set for any of these modules.

  • If your system does not contain any of these modules, the Stoptime is determined by the shortest Stoptime set for any of the remaining Agilent modules in the system.

If more than one pump is configured, the overall Stoptime is set to the Stoptime of the main pump. However, if the main pump is changed, the overall Stoptime remains as that of the former main pump until the Stoptime of the new main pump is changed.
