Device name | Enter a name for the device in this field. The default device name is SFC. |
Type ID | Click the down-arrow and select a device type from the drop-down list. The default device type is G4301A. |
Serial number |
You can leave the Serial number field empty; the serial number is determined and transferred to the field the first time the instrument is connected. |
COM Port | Click the down-arrow and select the COM port to which the SFC Control Module is connected from the drop-down list. See Determining the COM Port for instruction on how to find the correct COM port. |
Firmware Revision | You can leave the Firmware Revision field empty; the firmware revision is determined and transferred to the field the first time the instrument is connected. |
