Mark the Needle wash check box to to specify that a needle wash is included in the autoclean/purge cycle. Specify a wash duration (in seconds) in the adjacent Duration field.
Mark the check boxes against the solvent(s) that you want to use to purge the system. The system is purged with the selected solvents in the sequence Solvent 1 (A2), Solvent 2 (B2), Start cond. (A1) (start conditions).
Click the Flow down arrow and select a purge flow rate (in mL/min) and specify a purge duration (in seconds) in the Duration field.
Mark the Switch injection valve check box to specify that the injection valve is switched at the end of the autoclean cycle in order to flush it with the analytical solvent. Clear the check box to avoid switching the injection valve at the end of the autoclean cycle, thus reducing stress on the column.
