Specify the parameters for a standard needle wash in this section:
Mode |
Select the wash location by clicking the down arrow and selecting the needle wash mode from the list. You can select from Flush Port (default location) or Wash Vial. |
Time |
The Time field is enabled only if you have selected Flush Port. It enables you to specify a flush time in seconds between 0 and 9999 seconds in steps of 1 second. The peristaltic pump continues purging for 15 sec after needle is lifted to ensure that the wash solvent is completely moved to waste. |
Location |
The Location and Repeat fields are enabled only if you have selected Wash Vial. The Location field allows you to specify a wash location. |
Repeat |
The Repeat field is available only if you have selected Wash Vial. |
The Standard Wash parameters are enabled only when Standard Wash is selected in the Needle Wash section of the Method.
