The Injection Mode section contains the injection parameters. Note that these settings are ignored when Pretreatment/Injector Program is defined.
Partial loop filling | You can partially fill the loop with sample by specifying a sample amount in the Partial loop filling option. The specified amount is filled into the loop starting at the beginning of the loop. | |||
Full loop with overfill factor | This option can be used to increase the injection precision within the loop. The loop is filled with sample by x times the loop amount (where x is the specified overfill factor). The system calculates the switching times of the valve based on the specified factor. The factor needs to be a number between 2.0 and 9.0. The sample is filled centric into the loop while the valve is connected to waste. During the injection process, the valve is switched to the main flow path and the sample is injected with the specified volume. Afterwards, the valve is switched back to main and the remaining overfilled sample is flushed to waste.
