The Tray and Plate Configuration dialog box shows the current tray configuration of your autosampler. The range of vessel numbers that you can enter in the sample or sequence/worklist is dependent on the tray configuration.
Use the Assign Sample Container fields to specify the type and orientation of the plates in all front and back positions of the Multisampler.
For each position, you display the drop-down list of available plates and select the installed plate from the list.
For each position, you can mark the 180° Rotated check box to denote that the plate is installed at 180 degrees to its standard orientation. The graphic shows the orientation:
Check box cleared | Standard orientation: location A1 at lower left corner |
Check box marked | 180° Rotated: location A1 at upper right corner. |
180° Rotated directly affects the order in which the samples are processed. It is recommended that this setting is applied only in exceptional cases. |
