The Needle Wash dialog box allows you to wash the needle without modifying your current method. The needle wash specified in this dialog box is carried out immediately.
Mode | Select the wash location by clicking the down arrow and selecting the needle wash mode from the list. You can select from Flush Port (default location) or Wash Vial. |
Time |
The Time field is enabled only if you have selected Flush Port. It enables you to specify a flush time in seconds between 1 and 100 in steps of 1. The peristaltic pump continues purging for 15 sec after needle is lifted to ensure that the wash solvent is completely moved to waste. |
Location | The Location and Repeat fields are enabled only if you have selected Wash Vial. The Location field allows you to specify a wash location. |
Repeat | The Repeat field is available only if you have selected Wash Vial. You can specify up to 10 repeat washes. |
