Injection Valve to Bypass for Delay Volume Reduction	Mark this check box to switch the flow from the injector from the main flow path to bypass after injection has taken place. This reduces the delay volume for low volume techniques. You can specify the point during the analyses when the valve switches to bypass by setting the Sample Flush-out Factor.
Sample Flush-Out Factor	The Sample Flush-Out Factor ensures that the sample is thoroughly flushed out of the syringe and past the capillary seat and valve. The factor is part of the flush-out volume formula, which is calculated by the Vialsampler firmware. The volume is calculated as: factor x (injection volume + seat capillary + valve volume). The Sample Flush-Out Factor is preset to 5.0 at the factory. The preset Sample Flush-Out Factor is correct for most methods. However, for unusually viscous samples, you should increase the Sample Flush-Out Factor to obtain the desired degree of flushing to prevent sample carry-over.
Overlapped Injection Mode	Overlapped injection provides faster throughput of samples by allowing the preparation of the next injection while the current injection is being completed. The net effect is more samples performed during a given period of time, although the actual individual injection times remain constant. When overlapped injection mode is employed, the next sample is taken up into the Vialsampler as the first sample is being injected. Click the down-arrow and select the Overlapped Injection Mode from the drop-down list: Select Off to switch off overlapped injection. Select When sample is flushed out to specify that the sample can be prepared directly after the current sample has been flushed out. Select Prefetch Vial to specify that the next sample is fetched by the gripper while the current sample is running. If overlapped injection is not active, the sample is fetched immediately after the sampler receives a start commend, irrespective of the ready states of all other devices. Select Overlap Injection Cycle to specify that the next sample is fetched and loaded into the sample loop while the current sample is running. Specify a time (in minutes) after injection when this process should be started. The parameters for overlapped injection are specified as part of the method. There are no parameters for overlapped injection to be specified in the sequence/worklist table. However, there are important restrictions to using Overlapped Injection in sequences/worklists: In the sequence/worklist, all injections where you wish to use overlapped injection must use the same method. This is because the method provides the necessary information for sample location and volume to trigger the events leading up to the next injection while the current injection is being completed. Where different methods are specified, the sequence/worklist continues, but the overlapped injection is ignored. Control samples may NOT be used. If a control sample is inserted in the sequence/worklist, there will be no overlapping in the following injections because the Control sample might fail and the sequence/worklist would then be stopped. Important restrictions for using Pretreatment/Injector Programs with Overlapped Injection: Overlapped Injection can handle pre-injection tasks but not post-injection tasks. This is because the next sample is being prepared for injection during the current injection. The command INJECT may not be used in an injector program with Overlapped Injection.
