The Thermostatted Column Compartments (G1316A/B/C) control the 2-position/6-port valve and 2-position/10-port valve differently from the Multicolumn Thermostat (G7116B), External Valve Drive (G1170A) and Flexible Cube (G4227A):

Thus, depending on the module type, different ports are connected when the same method parameter (valve position) is specified.
If one of these valves is used, for example, for column selection, and columns are connected to ports with the same numbers in a different module, a different column may be used in a transferred method. Although this is displayed correctly in the user interface, it may be unexpected.
