Use this field to modify the detector’s signal handling to increase the margin for negative absorbance. Use this option if, for example, your solvent gradient produces a decreasing baseline absorbance, and for GPC analyses.
Limits: 100 to 4000 mAU.
The higher the value, the lower the resolution of the detector, and the greater the baseline noise. Set this value only if you expect negative absorbances greater than 100 mAU. |
Select Lamp on required for acquisition if you have a multiple detector configuration and do not want to use the VWD for the next analyses.
These two fields define the wavelength range for spectral scans.
Limits: 190 nm to 600 nm.
Step defines the wavelength resolution for spectral scans.
Limits: 1 to 10 nm in steps of 1 nm.
