Denotes the HDR-DAD Cluster cells: long (upper) and short (lower). Each cell includes a cell tag.

When balancing is in progress, the graphic is yellow (not ready).

If spectra are being acquired, the acquisition range is displayed under the graphic.

Actuals

The DAD actuals shows a table of the current signals in six columns:

Channel

The signal definition:

  • A..E

    G1315A/B

  • A..H

    G1315C/D, G4212A/B, G7115A and G7117A/B/C

WL

The signal wavelength (in nm).

BW

The bandwidth of the signal wavelength (in nm).

RefWL

The reference wavelength (in nm) or off.

RefBW

The bandwidth of the reference wavelength (in nm) or off.

mAU

The signal output (in mAU).

Context Menu

The context menu contains the following commands:

Control

Displays the detector's Control dialog box.

Method

Displays the detector's Method Setup dialog box.

Error Method

  • Set Error Method

Sets the error method to the method that is currently available in the hardware. The error methods are loaded automatically on all modules if an error occurs.

  • Clear Error Method

Removes the currently loaded error method.

Identify Device

Single DAD

Causes the LED on the front of the device to blink for a few seconds.

HDR-DAD Cluster

Displays a submenu that allows you to identify either each individual device or all devices in the cluster:

  • Selecting an individual device from the submenu causes the LED on the front of the selected device to blink for a few seconds.

  • Selecting All from the submenu causes the LEDs of all devices in the cluster to blink.

Balance

Balances the detector.

Switch on

Ignites the UV lamp.

Switch off

Switches off the UV lamp.

Switch on

Switches on the Vis lamp. This item is present only when the detector includes a Vis lamp.

Switch off

Switches off the Vis lamp. This item is present only when the detector includes a Vis lamp.

Illumination on with UV lamp

(G7117A/B and G4212A/B only)

Specifies that, the next time the UV lamp is switched on, the module illumination LED is also switched on. This command is present only when the UV lamp is switched off.

Illumination off

(G7117A/B and G4212A/B only)

Switches off the module illumination LED. This command is present only when both the UV lamp and the module illumination LED are switched on.
