Manual Fraction Collection

The buttons that control manual fraction collection, (start) and (stop) have immediate effect: the command is sent to the device immediately, and no delay time is taken into consideration.

However, there may be a delay before the device recognizes the command, depending on the speed and complexity of the connection between the controlling PC and the device. In addition, since the times reported in the fraction result table are based on the detector times, this delay can give rise to negative values if the collection is initiated before the injection reaches the detector.
